A smart home you can actually see – image film, feature videos and photography for a systems integrator.

Nascon is an electrical and smart home systems integrator whose work is all but invisible once it is finished: it runs behind the walls. The task was to make that invisible work tangible in stills and moving image – for the client who is still only planning.
Two locations, two shoot days. In April 2025 we filmed in a villa in Buda with a model: a 30-second image film and ten short feature scenes about the way the house responds to the person living in it. In May, at a family house in Dunakeszi, we made a photo series and short video scenes of the installed system – in the same visual language, so that the material from the two locations works as one consistent reference package.

A thirty-second image film in a villa in Buda where Nascon did the entire electrical installation and smart home integration. The images tell the story of a homecoming: the house responds to the person living in it – light, shading, mood, all by itself, without a button being pressed. With a model, on a gimbal, from a single shoot day, cut and graded in 4K.

Alongside the image film, ten short scenes were made about the concrete functions of the system: a hand presses the switch, the curtain draws itself back, the lighting comes up scene by scene, the temperature is set with one gesture on the touch panel. These stand on their own – for a website, a social feed, a proposal document – and they show exactly what Nascon sells: how it works.

One day in the villa: a model, a gimbal, one camera. In the feature scenes the smallest detail counts – the surface of a switch, the order inside the distribution board, the feedback from the entry system – because those add up to what Nascon actually does. The behind-the-scenes photos show what that looked like outside the film.

The second location is a family house in Dunakeszi, where Nascon's system also runs: lighting, solar, wall car charger, entry, heating control. Here, instead of an image film, we made a photo series and short video scenes – the house from outside at blue hour, then the details the client is really paying for: the mechanical services, the distribution board, the entry system. The same colour world as the villa.
